Ok so dont pick a high school just because thats where your friends are gonna go. You should find out which school has a better education. Friends grow appart anyway. Maybe by the time high school starts you wont even be friends with your best friend anymore, and youll be stuck going to that high school. Youre gonna make new friends in high school anyway, so just pick whichever school has better education.
