What exactly are record companys looking for right now?

They're looking for some one that is always prepared and ready to try new things with music and someone who is not afraid or scared to be heard. Someone fresh, new, unique talented, and driven. Just always be yourself, stay cool, and stay focused especially in school! You sound like you will be fine in the music industry though.
