If the BBC is no longer value for money, should not the licence fee be withdrawn?

You are living in the 1970's still - there are lots of new programmes for this day and age that offer the same standard of entertainment. Psychoville, Ideal, Sherlock, Whitechapel, Coming of Age etc.
