How to make your hair straight naturally even if it has bit of damaged hair?

My hair got damaged by me putting ALOT of conditioner. Though its been 2 years and quality is improving but i want shiny, silky, STRAIGHT, hair. espically my bangs there very wavy and im frustrated with that. Is there any way my hair could be silky,straight,shiny hair NATURALLY. Ive been cutting my hair staright but when my hair was severaly damaged stylist suggest in layers. So is it why its curly or because of damged hair. Some one help me!!
