Anyone got any tips on fashion for Sixth Form?

I'm moving 100 miles away, from Oxfordshire to Leicestershire, and I'm going to my sixth form induction days starting this Monday. I have absolutely no idea what to wear, but I want to make a really good impression, as I love looking good. I won't know a single person! My style is sort of vintage-inspired, think knitted cardigans and floral dresses and long wavy hair. Any tips on fashion/make-up/anything?
